MATERNITY NURSE

A Maternity Nurse will help the parents prepare for and adjust to the first weeks/months of Baby’s life. Maternity nurses could be:

  • Full time maternity nurse 24 hours

  • Night maternity nurses

  • Daily maternity nurses

  • Twins and triplets maternity nurses

    This all will depends of parent’s requirements

  • What to expect from a maternity nurse?

  • Help set a feeding and sleeping routine for Baby

  • Advise on all aspects of breast-feeding and /or bottle feeding

  • Baby cuddling take care of all Baby’s needs including laundry

  • Preparation of feeds and sterilization of bottles

  • Give parents peace of mind and a good night’s sleep!

  • Solving problems such as constipation, reverse sleep cycling, uneven sleeping rhythms, acid reflux , etc

Maternity nurses usually earn between £250 (junior candidates) to £500 net per day (top notch candidates), £1000 to £3000+ net per week depending on experience, qualifications when working on 24 hours a day live in basis.

If working on live hour hourly basis, the rate is typically between £16 - 20 per hour gross. Rates for multiples can be higher.
